You may wonder how come I chose a topic like INFLAMMATION for my first blog. Let me tell you why?
The reason I chose this topic is because lately I have seen and heard a lot of people getting affected due to inflammation, also seen my loved ones getting affected, and the reason for this is the food we eat and our lifestyle. It is also the times we live in which sets us up for these kinds of problems but also ignorance on our part makes it worse.
Everyone gets early signs when the inflammations starts but it’s when we ignore these signs that it takes the course of a disease. Inflammation is the cause of many illnesses like cardiovascular diseases, arthritis, migraines, some cancers. Autoimmune diseases (when the body mistakenly attacks healthy tissues) also causes inflammation which then leads to bigger things.
STRESS, LACK OF SLEEP & TOXINS are major reasons for inflammation to be created. Consistently when we make stress, disturbed sleep, and taking in toxins through food and alcohol consumption a part of our lifestyle, inflammation starts building which will attack the weakest link in your body first, before it attacks anywhere else.
The life we lead today has a huge impact on our body and how it reacts to our actions. We all are aware of what the body needs and doesn’t need, we are all blessed with that intelligence, it’s when you go against your own body, time and again is when inflammation takes place. Your body has the mechanism of going back to homeostasis at all times, but when we consistently misuse this power of the body, one fine day it starts affecting its functioning which slows down and gives way to inflammation.
Inflammation is something we can cure, when we listen to the initial signs the body gives us. And for this we need to make friends with our body and listen to what it is trying to tell us. Please do not underestimate the intelligence of your body and you will be surprised by what it can do.
In this blog I don’t want to write about the symptoms and anti-inflammatory foods as we all know about that stuff. But where we need to bring our awareness is to our own bodies which is by LISTENING to it, NOT IGNORING it and by making FRIENDS with it. Your body will tell you what you need to eat and what not to eat. It will automatically drive you to the ingredient it needs.
